In early February 2026, motorsport enthusiasts from across Brazil came together for an unforgettable celebration marking the grand opening of the FuelTech Motorsports Park (Autódromo FuelTech Velopark) in Nova Santa Rita, Rio Grande do Sul. The event, held on February 7th, was preceded by a remarkable journey that began on February 5th as part of a massive car caravan.
A Legendary Road Trip
On the morning of February 5th, a spectacular caravan of more than 1,000 vehicles departed from the Parque Dream Car in São Roque, São Paulo, embarking on an approximately 1,200 km journey south to Nova Santa Rita. The convoy included muscle cars, classic vehicles, custom builds, and modified high-performance machines, drawing car lovers from different regions of Brazil and even abroad. Along the way, the caravan made planned stops in Curitiba (Paraná) and Balneário Camboriú (Santa Catarina), creating a rolling celebration of automotive culture.
Among those in the caravan was Anderson Dick, the founder and CEO Global of FuelTech, who personally drove a 1968 Ford Mustang specially prepared for the journey and Luis de Leon, FuelTech USA's COO. Their participation highlighted the passion and personal connection fueling the event.
Participants and spectators alike were welcomed to the Velopark facilities in Nova Santa Rita on the evening of February 6th, where a pre-event gathering featured live music, food trucks, controlled burnout demonstrations, and opportunities for visitors to socialize before the main festivities.
