Warranty / Repair

To have your warranty claim or repair request processed as quickly and efficiently as possible, please download and print the applicable Warranty/Repair Request form below. For FT Injector line fuel injector related requests, please select the "FT Injector Warranty / Repair" form below. For requests related to all other products, please select the general "Warranty / Repair Request Form."  

To begin a warranty claim or repair request, please request a Return Merchandise Authorization, or RMA, number by via email at RMA@FuelTech.net.

  1.  What is covered?
    All products manufactured by FUELTECH are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year following the date of original purchase. Warranty claim must be made by the original owner with proof of purchase from authorized reseller.

  2.  What does this warranty not cover?
    This warranty does not include sensors or other products that FUELTECH carries but did not manufacture. This warranty does not cover damages, defects or failures of your equipment vehicle or vessel resulting from shipping damage, accidents, installation errors, unauthorized adjustment or repair, unauthorized third-party service, failure to follow instructions, misuse, fire, flood, acts of persons not in our control, and acts of God.

  3. What we will do:
    If a product is found defective, such products will, at FUELTECH’s option, be replaced or repaired at cost to FUELTECH. All products alleged by Purchaser to be defective must be returned to FUELTECH, postage prepaid, within one year warranty period.
    If we choose to replace your unit, we may replace it with a new or refurbished one with the same or similar design. The repair or replacement will be warranted for remainder of the original one-year warranty period.

  4. What we ask you to do:
    Contact FUELTECH service department to obtain warranty service instructions. All returns must accompany a Return Merchandize Authorization, also referred to as an RMA, number. To obtain warranty service the product must be returned, freight prepaid, to the warranty department with a completed warranty request form. You will be responsible for the shipping cost to return the unit to you if the unit does not fall under a warranty claim.
    It is your responsibility to save your maps/log files. We will not be responsible for lost or erased data. 

  5. Limitation:
    This warranty is limited to defects in material or workmanship of the product. It does not cover loss of time, inconvenience, property damage or any consequential damages.
    Repair or replacement of the unit will be the only option. There will be no refunds made from FUELTECH parts for the price of the equipment. By sending us the unit, you agree to the terms of this limited warranty.
