At the heart of this setup is the FuelTech FT450 ECU, paired with a wideband O2 conditioner, essential engine sensors, and an unterminated harness for full customization.

NHRA Approved

Starting with the 2026–2027 NHRA rule amendments (dated 10/09/2026), fuel injection is now permitted in the NHRA Junior Drag Racing League, and the FuelTech FT450 EFI (software version 5.55) is the only EFI system allowed. Jr. Dragsters running the FT450 may also use a pressurized fuel system, and EFI setups must use the FuelTech IGN1A Inductive Smart Coil.
