Sick Summer is one of the premier drag-and-drive events in the United States. It’s a multi-day race where drivers must not only compete on the drag strip but also prove their car’s reliability and versatility by driving between race venues across several states. The mix of racing and long-haul road trips makes it one of the toughest automotive competitions in the country.
Each participating car must:
-
Be street-legal and registered.
-
Complete every leg of the route, with no external help or trailering allowed.
-
Maintain the same tires used on the drag strips for the street portions.
-
Respect the specific class rules for their category.
Each race day, drivers make their best pass down the drag strip, and their times are logged. At the end of the event, an average of these times determines the winners for each class.
