FuelTech EVERYWHERE!
FuelTech EVERYWHERE!
The FuelTech FT450 engine management system goes beyond traditional EFI systems. This aftermarket ECU is perfect for smaller engines and includes the same features and benefits offered by our full line of PowerFT ECUs. Highlights include sequential injection (up to 6 cylinders) and ignition (up to 4 cylinders), O2 closed loop, active traction control, integrated BoostController, internal datalogger, progressive and PRO-Nitrous controls, odometers, drag racing features and more.
Housed in a sturdy, high-quality waterproof plastic case, with a 26-pin automotive connector, USB communication, and a CAN Bus port the FT450 has 7 inputs and 10 outputs, that are fully configurable.
The LCD touchscreen makes it possible to tune your engine and configure settings without a computer, putting engine control at your fingertips while also servinge as a digital dashboard display with virtual LED indicator lights.
The FT450 ECU uses the same FTManager software as the FT600, with all the features and functions you expect from a FuelTech ECU. including the newest update that allows the user to update their fuel map by applying the O2 closed loop corrections that took place from a log file. The map files of all the PowerFT ECUs are compatible with each other, meaning that you can upgrade ECUs and keep the same tune you had already.
Product intended for off road use only. FuelTech is not responsible for any misuse of these products. Aftermarket racing ECUs are not intended for use on public roadways and should be restricted to use on closed courses.
Starting from version 5.10, the PowerFT ECUs will implement specific functions for the control of electric vehicles. This will allow you to create and develop hybrid and fully electric projects, relying on the already established efficiency, precision and reliability of FuelTech products.
Among the highlights we offer:
New programmable tables of torque control and electric motor regeneration so that the user can control, in a precise and safe way, the delivery of torque requirements for each project.
The CREEPING function, which when configured allows the car to crawl smoothly immediately after releasing the brake pedal and in some situations can work as a ramp assist. This is an ideal feature for urban use, as it provides the electrified vehicle with similar behavior to a vehicle equipped with an automatic drivetrain.
The GEARCONTROLLER function aids gear shifting on vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. For example, controlling engine torque when the clutch pedal is pressed or through an auxiliary button on the shifter.
Fully configurable regeneration system control, which transforms braking action into electrical energy to recharge the batteries, similarly found in the most sophisticated vehicles in the world.
Control of accessories such as the DC-DC charging for the 12 V battery, vacuum pump for the brake booster, front and rear signaling lights, air conditioning and cooling of the electrical systems.
Full control of the most popular Battery Management Systems and frequency inverters on the market.
Inputs and outputs to aid the control of the battery recharging process, which increases safety for the vehicle and for the user.
